Photo Friday: Boyer Chute Winter Sunset

While many may not be excited for snow, I got very excited when I heard winter storm Kayla was coming through the plains. A good amount of the white stuff really makes the landscape pop where there was just browns and grays before. After the flakes stopped falling, I shoveled myself out and headed to Boyer Chute National Wildlife Refuge to enjoy the winter landscape before it melted. As dusk fell, I captured this cold scene across the tallgrass prairie.
