Photo Friday: Sunset Over Gilbert-Baker

Gilbert-Baker Sunset
As the sun descends to the west, clouds are illuminated over the Gilbert-Baker forest in the pine ridge area of Northwestern Nebraska.

In the extreme Northwestern edge of Nebraska, north of Harrison is a little WMA called Gilbert-Baker WMA. On this cool spring evening, I hiked for a couple of miles over a few hills and then sat on this rock content to eat my dinner and watch a storm brew in the distance and then dissipate, leaving interesting clouds to reflect the light of the setting sun.
