It was completely dark as there was no moon, a perfect night to capture the stars and do some light painting. When the shutter was open I carefully used my flashlight on the steel beams and across the deserted bridge. When the shutter was off all I could see was the stars and the lights of Niobrara in the distance. The only sound was the slushing of the water beneath the bridge. That was until I was startled by the rustling of bushes behind me! I turned around with my flashlight and saw nothing and decided I was quite done. I packed up and hurried back up the trail to my warm cabin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
During my last trip to Niobrara State Park I spent two nights photographing the stars.
