Photo Friday: A Joshua Tree Evening

I had an opportunity to return to Joshua Tree National Park last month. While I always enjoy the beautiful desert landscape that is very different than the other landscapes I photograph, at night the stars really sparkle across the sky. On this evening the last ambient light of evening barely illuminated the clouds in the distance while the pinpoints of light twinkled above me.
