Last Night’s Winter Sky

Final Descent

Last night I took a short walk down at Chalco Hills Recreation Area near my home in Omaha. For a while the Canada Geese were taking off and landing pretty regularly. As twilight approached, clouds gathered above me and toward the western sky. This made for beautiful patterns in the clouds. Sometimes I just point my lens toward the sky and see what abstract compositions I can make. Other times, as with the second photograph, I get a nice subject to showcase with the clouds.
