Photo Friday: Twilight Calm

On a quiet evening in Yellowstone National Park I hiked out in the Middle Geyser area and witnessed the still water from the geysers reflected the fiery sunset in all directions. The sunset albeit brief in the scheme of the day seemed to last longer than usual as the oranges gave way to pinks and then purples. This was the image from near the end of the drama of sunset.

As a side note I do want to invite everyone to join me and the other talented artists at DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge this weekend for their annual “Art of the Wild” Show. I’ll be there Saturday and Sunday from 9 until 4:30. Hope to see you there!
